For a little while longer Razekiel giggled and gurgled laughter, calming only when the stallion rejoined him. Chatting to the horse contentedly, the coyote crushed a few more berries and began to draw lines beneath Lark's right eye, the paint once again bright scarlet until it dried. After a few seconds' drawing, the Seiryu stepped back and chuckled, shaking his head. Beneath the horse's eye was, well, a Chaos Star. "There, Lark, now you're a Lykoi too, yeah?" He laughed heartily, and pulled down his lower lip where his own star was hidden. Once again, the two "laughed" with one another, the stallion stomping his feet and bobbing his head merrily.

Lark halted suddenly, however, and snorted loudly; following the horse's gaze, Razekiel noticed the small cub as well and cocked his head to the side. Lark lowered his head and twitched his tail and ears playfully, neighing a challenge at the stalking cat, but a wash of grays blew past and scooped up the little predator much before anything could happen. Razekiel stumbled out of surprise, holding his head: "Ahhhh, woooaaaah!"

Cat in arms, Noah straightened up and apologized in a flurry of anxiety and desperation. Razekiel might have ordinarily calmed him and assured him there was no harm done, but the hippie's tendencies for being easily distracted kicked in, and with sparkling eyes the coyote rushed up and nearly bumped noses with the cat in the Gen'un's arms. "He's so cute!" the coyote exclaimed, immediately swiping Amzi from Noah and dancing around in circles with him raised up into the air, squealing and giggling all the while. "What's his name, what's his name?!"

Lark only snorted irritably, perhaps even jealousy, and stalked back to the riverside to drink. From time to time, he shot angry stares over his shoulder.
