OOC: Oh no no, there's no need to apologize. it's all good. <333 | 509 Words

Unlike Sascha, Donder and Blitzen were more relaxed around others than the boy was. One would think it would be the opposite, them hiding behind him to feel more safe when it was the coyote mix that wanted to hide behind them. The two beasts acknowledged the other's approach with a lift of their heads and simply looking at him. Perhaps they were more curious than nervous though they didn't make a move to help close the distance. It wasn't long before Donder continued to graze as Blitzen stood there unsure of what he was to do with the young Ulrich just sitting on his back. With the approaching stranger, he found it harder to command him to move when that should have been the best opportunity to do so seeing as he wanted to hide.

All the signs he had witnessed, the other wasn't a threat but that didn't change how the boy felt. He was a pathetic timid male which may never change. She even waved back at him with a smile which should have convinced him to relax even more but failed to. Just as she looked him over, he did as well. He noticed the sudden change in her expression, a sad look now occupying her appearance as her hand rested on her throat. He tilted his head ever so slightly, mimicking her actions as he raised a free hand to his throat to touch the tattooed scar, wondering at first why she did that. It wasn't until she spoke when he understood her actions and sudden change in demeanor. Though English wasn't his strong language, he pretty much understood what she had asked. He shook his head no in which confirmed that he was unable to speak.

He was debating whether or not to dismount from Blitzen so both of them wouldn't have to strain their necks. But that would mean getting closer to the girl so he gave it some thought and after a moment, he had come to a conclusion. He climbed off of the albino reindeer on the opposite side of where the girl stood and walked to the front of Blitzen where his hand rested on the side of his neck to pet him. Blitzen's head was now between him and the girl so in a way, he was hiding but still interacting with the other. He then dug into his back, his hand leaving Blitzen for the time being, and pulled out a pad of papers and a pen so that he could write down what he wished to say. Sascha. He then held up the book, making sure Blitzen's head wasn't blocking it, so that she could read it. He hoped she had the capability to do so or else it would make communicating with her harder. It was then that Donder made his way over to the girl to sniff at her fur, being a little curious of who Sascha was interacting with. The buffalo had more bravery than him, would one think that to be sad?
