First Kill

Shaking out her fur sent droplets of blood flying from her multicolored pelt to batter the ground. She grabbed onto a leg of the deer in sync with Tawny and pulled with all her might, the leg ripping free from its socket, muscle tearing and bone snapping under her strength. She too threw the deers leg onto the pile of growing body parts, smiling as Tawny seemed to be enjoying their crude dissection of the deer. "Yes." She nodded and the knife in question was pulled from its sheath and she began to slice the skin away from the layers of fat and muscle underneath.

Working together they managed to pull the skin off of the animal and remmove the remaining legs so it was easier to carry, Jace observed the carcass, the skin and the pile of legs and antlers. As Tawny attempted to lift the carcass she held up a hand to tell her to wait,

"Just a second, Tawny." She kneeled down and cut a few long strips out of the deers hide and wrapped it around the antlers and legs of the beast and then tied it around her shoulders so it hung from her body like a weird backpack. She stood and grabbed the other side of the corpse, no longer caring about the blood on her. She smiled brightly at Tawny and said,

"Okay, lets go."
