Though the trio of boys were not his by blood, Ravesque hadn't turned his back on the white Queen simply for doing what he'd expected she was. There was no bond between the two, no reason for whatever vague jealousy had bubbled up in the past, and since their time together in the nights before the birth, the Acidic had been in a better sort of mood (or it was assumed that he was -- his moods never really showed to the world). Without a desire to do much else, his drive not empty but focused solely on Naniko, his days were filled with hunting to sustain the brood he'd unofficially adopted into his own family. It was the least he could do — she had taken his children in as her own without question.

The call caught his attention as he tried to clean the mass of busted jaw in the salted water off the Serene Sands; it'd been healing well, but still caused him problems from day to day, mostly with pain. A grunt escaped him at the idea that he needed to answer it. In truth, he didn't — Naniko had overlooked her hard-working ex-lover for an idiot warrior who lazed about all day with his...whatever the hell it was. Still, there was no need to bother the Marbas. Anathema looked bad when the visitors were met with idiocy.

The bipedal man started the trek across the mountainous land, in search of the one who called out for an escort into the land. Blood hung on the air, offering Ravesque a trail right to the much younger, four-legged male. The doe he brought caused the Tuyul to raise one apathetic eyebrow, arms crossing and hand rubbing at the space where his tongue occasionally lolled out at. "Are you looking for someone, boy?" Still no amiability entered his voice, but curiosity did light up his red gaze as he waited to hear just what he was doing with this...thing at the borders.
