It was a lovely day and Cambria had ventured out of the mansion to walk around and see if she could find any fresh medicinal plants nearby. She wasn't particularly low on anything at the moment, but it was always better to be oversupplied than under. Besides, it was so nice out and the Marino really did need to get out more. After the run-in with Keese she had spent far too much of her time sequestered securely in the room she shared with Mati. She still had no desire to leave the lands claimed by Crimson Dreams, but that still gave her lots of land to explore and plenty of people to meet. The Medicus knew there had to be members of the pack she did not yet know and she needed to be better about introducing herself. Cambi wanted the Dreamers to know who she was and to come to her if they ever needed her services. It was why she had chosen the path that she had.
As she walked around the lake she heard a commotion up ahead and stopped briefly, her heart suddenly pounding in her ears. Whatever was going on, it did not sound good. Could an intruder have made it this far into the pack's lands? Could it be the horrible man with the yellow eyes who drank in the sight of her body so lustfully? The thought made Cambria shiver. But then the noises died down and then...a call for help. Frightened as she still was of what had just occurred ahead of her, she could not ignore someone who needed help. The cocoa wolf rushed forward and he satchel beat against her thigh with her hurried steps. Tallermein's Cottage came into view and she saw the back of a slim woman who had something in her arms. Cambria continued forward, her breath came nearly in pants. "Hello? You called for help? What happened?" The Aedile looked on with concern as she tried to piece the situation together.
