Don't mind at all. I've also enjoyed yours. :]
indent It had been odd that Inferni had spent so much time on the beach. Gabriel, from a military perspective, saw the susceptibility of the position. He had chosen the Waste for just a reason—they had the high ground, and the cliffs and rocks gave defensive positions. Only some of the caves did not have exits, but they were not up against a mountain. If it came down to it, they could flee. Those that did not survive would be necessary casualties.
indent Like Arkham, he heard his sister’s voice accuse. The hybrid’s muzzle crinkled with distaste. He had not abandoned anyone intentionally, as his mother and father had. There had been no time. The fire had spread faster then he expected. It was a miscalculation on his part. A gust of wind turned the scents, and this time, it brought one he did not welcome. Wolf. Male. Alone. Golden-yellow eyes darkened, narrowing. This would be the fifth.
indent Without feeling the ground under his feet, Gabriel rose and began walking towards the scent. Nothing in his body posture suggested he was intending to kill the stranger. He stopped the moment he saw the approaching figure. He waited. If this man was like all the others, he would be predictable.
