The girl twitched her ears with surprise as Range dashed off. No response whatsoever, he was just off like a bolt of lightning toward wherever he waned to explore. Melee leaped up onto her own feet and raced after her littermate. Her feet kicked up the sod and rocks as she ran, laughing gleefully into the air as it whooshed past her face. Given his head start, though, she had no chance of catching up. Which was probably good considering Range went flying. Melee's ears flattened back as she skidded to a stop, watching her sibling as he tumbled. There wasn't much that she could do to stop him from his fall, so she just waited until he had landed. Then she started to jog toward him. This time she was meticulously careful about where she set her paws.

As she drew near to his position, the boy had stopped moving and laid on the ground with his snout buried in the dirt. The girl swished her tail at his comment, crossing her arms as she appraised her sibling's potential injuries. Thankfully there was nothing wrong with him. Just some bruises, undoubtedly, and possibly a bruised ego. However, she doubted that. Range seemed happy enough with his circumstances. Content to go back about their business of exploring. "Smooth move, bro, I'm sure the ladies will love it." she teased in return, walking up to her brother to bump shoulders with him. The girl twitched her nose thoughtfully as she considered where they could go from their current point. "Further into the Foothills or the Falls? And don't go dashing off on me! We can walk and talk for once." If he tried to dash off, she would reach out to grab his arm and hold him back. Running was fun, but it wasn't ideal for exploring. A wolf could miss too much when the world was going by in a blur.
