Melee looked up and her bi-toned gaze became immediately startled by what she perceived to be the rather abrupt appearance of someone else in the area. It was unfortunate that she was looking up right as they collided, their bodies tumbling in one lump toward the ground. The breath whooshed out of the young wolf's lungs and she had to catch it again as Sa'adat disentangled herself. Having never heard of Sa'adat's homeland - much less hearing the coyjackal's native tongue - she had no idea what the jackal-coyote had said. Her ears flattened in apology, her lips pressing together. It had been her fault that they collided, after all, and once again her meal was lost to the brush. "I'm sorry. I don't understand you." she said, apologetically swaying her ears.

Melee pushed herself up off of the ground, standing up so that she wasn't sitting uselessly on the ground anymore. Some part of her wanted to be standing because it was safer, too. She balanced carefully on her feet, her bi-toned eyes never leaving the form of the canine she had collided with. Her tail swished from side to side as she dusted off her body, brushing off a few stray strands of grass and other debris. The girl's appraising glance quickly shifted across the stranger, taking in the oddness of everything about her. Everything about Sa'adat fascinated Melee. From her lean, slim body to her large ears and her strange language. "Sorry... about colliding into you and all." she said. It seemed all she was going to do right now was apologize. Her posture was clearly apologetic and her ears flattened back for a moment in a silent wave of apology. Though she had no idea if the stranger could understand her words, at least the body language should be clear... she hoped.
