Valinta looked down from her stool at the woman who seemed to be curious about her politeness. The chocolate-furred woman had learned that it was easier to catch flies with honey than vinegary... Not that she wanted flies, disgusting little creatures. She wanted friends, companions. And politeness was the proverbial honey. And besides, why be rude and mean when there were people who actually deserved it?
The woman, who had a strong accent herself, noted the Russian femme's. "I am indeed Russian. And you are Polish, are you not?" Valinta already new that she was Polish, something that could be easily mistaken as Russian. If you were an idiot. Putting it as a question made her seem nicer. Less self-important. Or self-absorbed or whatever it was that people said when she acted vain and shallow.
The dog-like woman would be spending lots of time in the kitchen? She was a cook? Valinta smiled. "This is a nice kitchen." She really only could assume, having never stepped foot in a kitchen in her life, really. She was a princess, and that was just... menial labor. It was preposterous, really... But she could certainly appreciate a good meal, and hopefully would be doing so soon. She loved to eat.
She looked at the red and white woman and her lips twitched. Valinta could somehow see herself in that woman, and thought that they could make very close friends. "I'm Valinta." she said, quietly expecting the woman's name back.
