For some inexplicable reason, Valinta found herself drawn to the mountains that housed her subterranean home. The mountains always held some sort of mystery to her, some mystique that she wanted to explore or understand. It was because they were beautiful and intriguing, because they were utterly majestic. As she walked along on the springy carpet of dead leaves and moss, she breathed in the crisp air. It was because it was beautiful where she was.
Not because she was sick and tired of getting lost in the caves as she had been. The constant feeling of being buried was waning though, which was a Godsend to the petit female. The loss of her directional sense did not leave, which only angered her more. The anger led to her not paying attention and getting lost, and the vicious cycle began anew. It was enough to drive her insane.
Barely restraining herself from stomping on the ground, Valinta gasped loudly when she saw a very tall person in a cloak in front of her. Reminding herself that they were both on neutral territory (having wandered off of Anatheman soil), she looked up at him. "Who are you?" she asked carefully.
