The morning started like any other would do, he got up and stretched and did his exercises. Glad to see that for the first time his wounds didn't pull apart and bleed even if there was a tautness in his skin that irritated him. He traveled down to the stables, disliking the ghostly and abandoned feel about it. He quickly brought Faith our of her stall, the black mare looked pleased to leave the forbidding echo that lingered o the air and pulled himself up onto her back. Man and horse trotted off into the forest for a leisurely ride that calmed both of their senses down.
Their good mood however did not last for long as they approached the stables, fear ran on the wind with pain as its companion. The stench of Maska and one of his henchmen filled the air and the brown man found his hackles rising and his fur bristling. He dismounted and moved forwards with caution until he realised the disgusting scent of the weakling was fading meaning that he had left already along with that of his pet. What got his attention however was the scent of Liliana that was still strong and fresh, it was mingled with the pain and fear and he began to suspect what had happened before he had even reached the door, as he walked in the man called out quietly,
"Liliana?"
