WC: 837. Backdated to the 9th maybe? THIS IS A VOMIT THREAD OF RAINBOWS AND GLITTER AND HAPPY. But it makes me happy. Set in the southern parts of Rabbit Lake, on the Manor side. Mid-afternoon. Also, feel free to pp in your post if need be since you gave me permission here :x.

Crickets of the evening were still chirping when Giselle awoke, stretching and looking out the window. She had always been more of a morning person, and when the realization of today's excitement finally clicked in her brain, powder blue eyes widened and she nearly leaped out of bed. "Today's the day, Tux!" She said to the half-sleeping animal, barely draping a coat around her as she swung the balcony doors open to the early morning, and began to sing lightly, almost like a lullaby. It put the chocolate stoat back to sleep, even as a few songbirds flew in from the balcony and began chirping alongside the young woman. Giselle turned and began to lay things out on the floor and the bed, fussing over small details under her breath. Articles of clothing and other things flew, landing on the sleeping stoat and jarring him awake. Giselle barely breathed out an apology before she remembered the food, and fluttered out the door and left it ajar.

Soon the pale girl had put her hair up high and donned an apron that morning to prepare for the afternoon meal, with the help of some songbirds that had flown in to awake her with song. In the kitchen they passed things to her, from ingredients to utensils, while Giselle sang a merry tune and had several wonderfully smelling things cooking by the late morning. Occasionally the commotion and the scents had brought on a few pair of eyes into the kitchen, but not the emerald eyes that would have made her heart skip in anxiety. While the ivory princess would have loved to share with the other Dreamers in the mansion, it would have to wait for another day. When the cooking was complete, she wiped a hand across her brow, her fur smudged with assorted foodstuffs. However exhausted she was, though, her face was bright and her eyes smiled when she took the covered food and placed it into a worn basket. Giselle's only worry now is if her companion on this day's venture would like what she had prepared.

And all the while that the young woman prepared herself for the day's venture with the knight-to-be, she sang a myriad of songs. It was nothing out of the ordinary, for she was known to burst into song whenever her heart felt the need. Her dress in the making, the pink one with white accents, was still unfinished, for the incident with the bobcat just a few days prior had broken her heart and left her worried. Luckily, though, Cambria was there to help, for which Giselle was grateful.

Nevertheless, the blue-eyed damsel made slight modifications to the dress, doing what she could to the unfinished article of clothing. As it hugged her lithe form, Giselle twirled and twirled some more around her dust-speckled mirror, admiring and yet judging her work. The train was removed, and replaced with a white sash tied into a bow at the back. It was a more elegant gown that went down to her calves, still easy and comfortable for her to move in.

When she gave a final nod of approval to her look, a few songbirds fluttered in carrying a few small, pale yellow flowers. "Oh, why thank you~" She said, cupping her hands as they dropped them into her delicate palms. Placing them high into her hair, pinning it back, strands of hair fell in ringlets around her face and neck, bouncing with each motion. The afternoon light streamed into and around the mansion by the time Giselle was prepared. The picnic basket was full and covered with a checkered blanket 'Elle managed to find, along with a book and other things tied to the satchel at her waist. She knew she would not need to bring the frying pan along today as a weapon, for she was sure her tall companion that day would be enough defense if anything were to happen.

Turning, she watched as Tux, her other brave companion, moved to get up from his bed, and she stopped him. Small hands reached out to pet the stoat, telling him that she would rather him stay here with his injury. Though he fought a brave battle with the bobcat, Tux was still lightly limping from the incident. Though nothing major was broken, 'Elle worried for her dear little friend. Giving him a quick kiss upon his coffee and cream colored head, she picked up her things and shut the door behind her.

With a deep breath, Giselle made her way up the steps of the Mansion, and knocked on the door that belonged to Silvano and his family. A slight blush powdered her cheeks as she did so, out of embarrassment to have to check and see if the Sadira boy was ready. When the door creaked open slowly, the tall shadow of the young man fell over her. She beamed up at him, as much excited about their outing as she was nervous. "Ready to go?"
