we should wrap it uuup soooon

The way the two of them moved seemed almost like magic. Silvano had never really danced before, and yet they were doing so phenomenally well. He could not look away from her, especially with his hand on her waist and hers on his arm. It was hard to ignore the heat he felt from her, which made his own face feel warm, but still serene. Silvano went through the paces, knowing the steps like the back of his own hand. They felt like a familiar friend he had met long ago, and Giselle kept moving smoothly along. He felt his own breath catch now and then, as though he was not sure it was happening either. When he had put his hand on her to push her into the twirl, he stopped breathing momentarily, missing the sudden absence of her warmth against him. It felt so nice, and it was just too good to be true. But how long could it last?

As long as her hand was in his, Silvano felt that everything was right. The fireflies parted for them, and he could imagine they were calling out praises to their dance in the dark. They called it graceful, beautiful. Magical. He could almost hear them utter to another that it looked so perfect. Because it felt so damn perfect. Every time her dress ruffled against his legs he smiled a little more brightly, captivated by the way her sapphire eyes seemed to look into him. It felt like she had never really seen him before, and never really known who he was. But, it just didn't matter to him how she saw him before; she saw him very clearly now. And he may not have been the prince charming she was expecting, ruler of a magnificent kingdom, but he was tangibly real. He was a good dancer, too.

Silvano could tell the dancing was winding down as they both slowed. And suddenly Giselle was against him, and he found himself surprised and almost paralyzed by her presence. But he managed to overcome his embarrassment and shock to move his hand on her waist to the small of her back. He could feel her fingers shift in his light grip, and felt some hair on the back of his neck rise from her other hand rising up his arm. He tried his hardest to stabilize his breath, thinking it too rough and shallow. It would give everything away for sure.

When he heard her words, he let out a soft chuckle. "I've never danced before..," he said softly, his voice still that strange lower tone. He rested his chin on top of her head, grinning as he closed his eyes, taking in the smell of the moment. She smelled so good, and she felt so good in his arms. "But I had a lovely partner." Yet, the moment had to end, for the clock was sure to strike midnight any moment. And Silvano did not want to wake up to find out he simply had the most vivid dream in the longest time. Slowly, he pulled her away, holding onto her arm gently. "We should probably go back and clean up." After this he knew that she would read the note and everything would change.
