ooc Hope you don't mind me taking up the offer to capture Parker!

Thel Solitaire

So this is what it was all about, huh? Like many, the man had been recently initiated into AniWaya as a Guardian, a new policing force. He thought it was strange that the pack had recruited so many outsiders to be their protection, but it all became clear the moment Thel received orders about the raid. So there was something more happening here. No matter... Maska had been the one to promise him his desires, which were few, and so long as he was on the side that would get him these things, he would remain loyal muscle.

The canoes made only the faintest of sounds as they neared the banks. Thel glanced around as he rowed, peering at each shadowed face and knowing none of them. Sure, these were his fellow ranksmen and he had seen them at gatherings and meetings, but he didn't know any of them. That would all change after tonight.

As the clock ticked on, the time to ponder came to an end. The leading canoes had made it to the shore, and now it was their turn. The keel scraped against soft ground, it was now too shallow to row anymore. Thel leaped out along with a comrade and dragged the canoe to shore. He did not take the boat too far up the banks, though, because soon they would need to make a hasty get-away. Guardians were springing from the banks in clusters and running toward their target. Once he had the vessel secured, Thel started to join the others when he suddenly realized how empty this area was.

After only a few yards the Optime slowed, glancing over his shoulder at the canoes he left behind. Was anybody going to stay with them? What if the Dreamers found them and seized them? They'd be screwed. He stopped and began to turn towards a hiding place in the brush when he heard the round of someone running. His hands shot to his belt and proffered the bullwhip and scimitar he armed himself with. He ducked low and his ears twitched, listening as the steps came closer. It was the wrong direction to be any of his men.

Soon he saw a tawny form jogging down the way. His brown eyes narrowed as he gauged the distance. He crouched and hid in the shadows, but if she got too close she would easily spot him. Hoping to utilize the element of surprise, he lashed the whip as she drew near, trying to ensnare and entangle the woman's feet.
