It was meager it was always meager, she wanted to band together a hunting party and if they had to move into the mountain deeper. She wanted to bring home some bigger game and the woman could not do it alone.
the mighty hunters gaze averted to the sky it was still early in the day and she figured there had to be others that would join her in the hunt if she called. Her voice rang into the air as she called out. She had not howled like this in a long time and the sound of her call sounded so different from the wolves around her. She had to admit that she did feel at odds here.
Standing up she dusted herself off and looked at the two rabbits and squirrel. God she needed to find better trapping spots and she needed to make bigger ones for next spring to get a few young deer. Strapping her knife pouch to one leg and a second pouch to the other she smiled. the last thing to do was to sit here and wait for someone to come.
