The return to his 'home' was all bitter and not at all sweet. He was outraged that the place to where they would return him was one to which he did not wish to return. He never wanted to see AniWaya again, but that being said, he also never wanted to set foot into Crimson Dreams territory again, either. He understood why the wolf had tied him up and held him captive, but it still hurt. What hurt even more was knowing that his tribe was responsible for it. AniWaya, the tribe that so very much believed in communion with the spirits, had hurt another pack. The scent of blood had been thick in the hair by the end of the night.

Claudius walked with his head bowed and his hands clasped together in front of him. He had not been allowed to shift out of his optime form all night and that had continued to today. Although he was normally quite comfortable in his bipedal form, walking all the way from Crimson Dreams had been painful and difficult for him with his loss of balance. But now that they had returned, it hurt even more.

The dark-furred leader woman walked at the front of the group in a large secui form. The whole way here, her body had radiated with anger; her son’s, too. Claudius was guessing that the blue-eyed male who followed her so closely had to be her son, given their similar scents and obvious physical likeness. Like his mother, he walked – all anger.

When they arrived at the borders, the leader woman called out for Maska. He arrived, soon enough, just as displeased as the others. Claudius shivered and took a step back. He didn’t want to be here at all. He flattened his ears and pulled his arms in closer to himself, wishing it could all be over right now. But wishes weren’t reality and he was still tied up; the sacrificial lamb.
