It did not take long for whom she assumed must be the new leader of AniWaya to appear with the grunts he had sent to invade her land. All of her own showed injuries from the other night's raid, but her Dreamers had given as good as they got from the look of the wolves that fanned out to either side of the green-painted man. This Maska was certainly not what she had been expecting, she thought with a disgusted look crossing her face. She had imagined some bloodthirsty strongman hungry for conflict, not this sickly looking whiff of a canine. He would send the strong ones out to do his dirty work it seemed, and to the Consul that was simply pathetic. She would fight with her members, even though she was not a warrior by nature. This man would likely faint if he ever saw his own blood staining his coat.
He said nothing as he arrived and the woman's pupils contracted in anger, her hackles bristled. "So, nothing to say, have you? After you broke the long peace between your pack and mine by sending your shadows into my lands like a bunch of cravens in the night?" Cowards were what they all were in her mind. An honorable wolf and leader would have come to speak with her before resorting to such an unseemly trick.
