If the girl wasn't in the mansion or out at the borders playing with the skulls then she seemed to be out and around in the forest instead. She had traveled to the caves once but not really too many other places than those that had been listed. She hadn't managed to explore the full expanse that Inferni covered as of yet. It was certainly on the to do list though. She still had years of life ahead of her, or so she speculated, and therefore had plenty of time in order to be able to do so.
For now she contented herself to remain within the tree protected lands. She took comfort in the cover of leaves high above her head. Even though it didn't particularly hide her from the things that might choose to hunt her it still aided in peace of mind. After all she was used to such covering instead of being out in the open. She knew that she was still vulnerable but she didn't feel that fear. She was in Inferni and under the trees so she felt relative safety.
The girl had thought to find more dolls to add to her currently small collection but that thought was erased as she saw something duck into a burrow beneath some tree roots. She had no idea what it was. She hadn't even seen what sort of animal it was but had just caught some slight movement. "Hello? Who was that?" The small girl called out as she went over to try and inspect it for herself. She moved over to the base of the tree that she had seen movement at. "Hello? Someone there?" The female called out before sticking her nose down the hole to try and figure out had disappeared down there. |
