Strapped to the camel he was forced to walk, the man who was his new owner said nothing until he glaced back. "State your name boy" . Imhotep looked at him fire in his eyes. "Imhotep" The words spat with a tang of hatred. "Such a proud name for a Aabt, Imhotep Aabt that is what we will call you and you will answer to either." Imhotep nodded as he looked forward not saying another thing.
Days and nights were spent cleaning and locked in a room with a mat on the floor. One meal a day and that was ate from the floor for that's where a slave should eat from. Slowly they broke him of his head strong ways. Not allowed to speak unless spoken to. Today was good he was sent out into Cairo to get things that the family needed. A short break from the terrible word. He hated hearing it he was no Aabt, he was Imhotep.
