She rubbed at her cheek as she left the guesthouse, tail swaying faintly in the air behind her. Enkiel had been called away by Ezekiel, leaving the Egyptian alone -- while she appreciated her own time, it didn't really give her much to do. Exploration was still fascinating, of course, and that was on her mind for the moment. Stepping off of the porch, she rubbed at her eyes with a feminine hand, oversized ears flattening as angular jackayote jaws yawned wide. That was when they heard a call.
Enkiel had explained much of her new home, but she was still unfamiliar with pack life in general -- Cairo was a settlement far unlike the hierarchy-based Inferni she now resided in. But a howl meant someone was seeking entrance, or at least seeking audience, and so she decided to flex her new language and try to help the poor soul who had wandered to her living-world duat.
Kaftan clutched tightly to her chest, she approached the borders in silence, emerald eyes focusing on the dark colored man who waited there. He was large, something she wasn't unfamiliar with but something she was still trying to assimilate to. At least he wasn't a bear, like the brown-and-cream man who had disappeared in the days past. Mustering her courage, she pushed back salt-and-pepper locks and focused her eyes on the chest of the stranger. "Hahllo?"
