The shock was clear on his friend’s face at his choice to ask her to join him in leading. There was really no one else he would rather have by his side in the heat of battle or in a rank of such responsibility. In the past couple of years he had grown to enjoy the odd time he would meet up with the golden warrior. Although it had briefly crossed his mind to ask a male, or simply lead by himself, neither of those options appealed to him fully. His blood boiled at the thought of having to compete with another male for power all the time. It simply wouldn’t do to be in a constant battle for top male but at the same time he believed that a female could add greatly to a leadership role, having grown up under female alphas.

Although he wished she would accept right then and there he had to admit it was probably better for her to think things over. After all, She was probably attached the the Court and it’s people. Nodding he gave a genuine smile to the couple, “You two take your time and think about it.” Perhaps Anatoliy was more of a home lover than Ghita. The Knight knew he would have no issue getting Ghita, the previous nomad of the Marino family and forever rebel, to up and leave with him and Savina would understand once he explained his goals. Not wanting to over stay he welcome he cleared his voice, “Well, I best leave you two to consider things.” With a nod he started off on foot taking the reins of the borrowed horse. “Try not to take to long!” He shouted back before he mounted the horse and started trotting away.
