When a meeting had been called, Haven was adamant about everyone in his family attending. It was not often the King called for them, so when he did it was without a doubt that he had important news to share with them all. The only one who gave up some resistance to going was Robin, which honestly surprised the father a little. But as he explained the importance of such things to her, she relented and followed eagerly to the spot where the pack gathered.
The Seneschal stood quietly while the news of recent events was relayed to them by Vigilante. The news of the foul dog made the Aatte's brows knit together. He had known nothing of this, and honestly was a little put-off that he had not been informed before now of such things. He supposed Vigilante must have his reasons, but Haven liked to be completely informed about any matters pertaining to the security of the Court. The news of Keese came as a surprise, but a pleasant one. As many, the Knight wished to know the details of his death (for he knew better than most the character of that certain male), but as his jade eyes surveyed the King, Haven felt he knew the reason for the lack of details.
The biggest surprise of all though was the announcement of Strelein being promoted to Dauphin. Haven liked the odd tailor, but he was not one the Knight would have necessarily thought of for leadership. He would reserve his judgments until he saw the redhead in action though, and nodded at the new leader respectfully. He had no questions about the change of the rankings as he knew he stood in the same place as he always had: it was his duty to protect the pack and ensure the peace.
