The intruder had already made a fatal mistake, more than one actually. Not only had he tempted the borders of Salsola but he also thought to communicate a threat to one that was higher ranked. He would be lucky to get out with his hide intact. Especially since Bastion had his puppy around to take care of things for him. He knew his puppy was upset and thirsting for blood. After all it was that protectiveness that he counted upon. He knew that Janos would allow no harm to come to him. So really this loner was quite the idiot. It would honestly be in his best interest to give up and allow for death to take him because life as a slave wouldn't be an easy one, not to mention it would be made worse once his threat was known all about.

Bastion giggled as the intruder thought to run off and his puppy gave chase. Oh this was certainly going to be a good bit of fun. Bastion might even get a chance to further flex his power. It would be such a delight to slowly cut the information out of the flesh of this male. To display to this idiot just why the pack didn't dare underestimate Bastion. He had earned his position through the blood of others. After all only the stupid and weak willed didn't weigh all of their options. And it was those that he preyed upon. Those that thought he couldn't prove to be a threat because of his size and the way in which he spoke. And that was the exact reason that he had ended many a life with his own hands. Not to mention he had crafted puppies. Janos was a prime example of this. Bastion really didn't need to dirty himself since he had someone larger with more physical prowess than himself under his control. He knew that Janos would do whatever he wished without hesitation.

So yes, it was amusing to him that this trespasser thought to threaten him and was now running for his life. Oh how the tables have turned. Just imagine what a treat it would be to have the other begging and pleading for his life as well, praying to be spared after slating Bastion for death. He would learn though. Bastion would make certain that this would be a lesson that would stick with him.

It was at a slower pace that Bastion followed the duo. He didn't see no need to be in a hurry since he trusted his puppy to take care of things. He knew Janos would do his damnedest to not let the insolent male get away. Because of that he figured he'd let his puppy have a bit of fun since it wasn't often that Janos was allowed off his tether like this. Honestly, Bastion wouldn't mind seeing Janos painted red either. It had been so long since he had seen his puppy splashing about in the blood that so often coated the younger and smaller male's hands.
