Akira walked through the woody valley, inhaling the musky aroma of the earth. The old trees cast cool, dark shadows over Akira's white fur. A flash of movement caught her eye and she looked around wildly before realizing it was just one of the herbivores frolicking around. Shaking her head, Akira continued walking, listening to the birds and squirrels chattering in the trees. She continued to enjoy her walk until she spotted something white and large lying on the ground, seemingly comatose. It looked like a wolf but was much larger. Akira nearly jumped out of her skin when the wolf-like creature suddenly groaned. She watched as a bird fluttered down near the wolf-creature. The bird squawked loudly and the wolf-creature, annoyed, stirred. It stared at the bird and gave a warning, which the bird ignored. Unimpressed with the bird's ignorance, the wolf-creature ate it, bones and all. Akira, already wary at this point, became even more wary. She closed her eyes and began to shift into her Secui form, which was stronger than her Lupus form, which she was in at the moment. Akira's body became more bulky and muscular. Her paws and limbs became larger and more powerful. Akira's claws became retractable like a cat's. Her neck fur became a mane and her body fur became thicker and less coarse. The tattoos on her right leg and cheek stretched as her head and body grew. When her shifting was complete, Akira watched the wolf-creature warily.
