Cotl had no clue what they were going to do while the two were outside the mansion, perhaps just teach Sascha about certain plants, or to let the male see how Cotl's traps worked. It probably would have nothing to do with actually actively trying to find a female for Sascha to talk to. Cotl tended to let 'fate' take hold and if a female would approach them, then perhaps they would speak to her. Cotl would more than likely be the translator considering that the male had told him that he was not so comfortable speaking English as he was speaking their home language. Cotl figured that it might be time to actually actively teach Sascha about the secondary language that his mother should have taught him, like she had taught Giza, and Izaak.
