The stars tell all

Sira had run, run as fast and as far as she could. If her mother ever came after her, found her, she'd be dead. She had little time to marvel at the things around her, that was until she first encountered a thing she'd never seen. It was made of wood, but it wasn't a tree. This made Sira stop in her tracks. Eying the object she knew she only had a few moments before she was sure her mother would be upon her. This thing had such unexplained things that she couldn't possibly know how to describe it. Sniffing it, it smelled old, and it felt ominous to be near it. Stepping back the girl; unwittingly finding an old habitation that belonged to a human; decided it was best to get away from the thing as soon as she could. Backing away she turned and fled. The wold around her was not as she had thought, the same boring expanse as her den was. It had many different things, and one being that of a huge body of water. The largest the young female had ever seen. She was troubled and felt dizzy trying to see land on the other side. This was not good. She ran from the Bay as well. No answers were coming to her, nothng of instinct came to her that would tell her this was the world. Her mother was supposed to have taught her that.

Finally finding some wood to hide in, she relaxed, this was what she knew and loved, but as she moved through the woods, she could tell there was something different about them. She would leave quickly; but upon leaving the thick trees behind, she saw something that took her breath away.... it was rock... HUGE ROCK!!! What was the world coming to. She collapsed, and started crying. Why had she left her mothers? How was she going to live by herself, in this land she knew nothing about? She sniffed, trying to hide her face from the new world that surrounded her. She couldn't go back now mother would kill her, she would be furious.
