Leon’s adrenaline was drained from the spike it had taken earlier, in his rush to protect his leader. Now he had hot the clarity brought on by the rushing energy. Instead he stood with the strength that came from his desire to defend his home, and his friends. If he died now, he would not be able to protect anyone. He did not growl in anger, nor did he snarl at her. He stood, weapon ready, and faced his opponent with calm determination.
His eras flicked as she nodded her head in what seemed like acknowledgement, watching her with suspicion. He opened his mouth to question her intentions, to see if she’d allow him to leave peacefully or not, when her hands flew forward, launching both of her knives at him. Leon dropped to a knee while crossing his arms over his face and throat.
One knife just missed his head, slicing through his ear, while the other sliced into his forearm and spun away. He dropped his Naginata to the ready once more, rising to meet the woman’s charge. His eyes widened when he saw the reckless abandon that she displayed. It took him back to his fight with the red eyed boy back in the northern area. His own suicidal charges… Leon lunged forward and swept downwards with his pole-arm, than side stepped and stabbed at the woman.
