Over time, he had learned how to best associate what his master was doing with his body with what he wanted and Janos was all too willing to give him everything that he could. But this child was a bit of a wild card and he didn’t want Bastion to begin to hate him or something like that. He didn’t think that with a blow like that that he could survive. He didn’t really know about what the other was feeling but he could almost sense that Bastion was pulling away from him and he didn’t like it, he didn’t like it at all. Pulling closer to him and nipping at his chin in such a gentle and submissive fashion he hoped would be a way for Bastion to see that Janos really did love him and that he really did want to make things work between them. He really wasn’t the father but he wasn’t too sure about how he could prove it to the other beyond what he was doing now. He wasn’t related to the child at all that he knew of. As he nipped at the other’s chin, he heard the giggle and he felt that he could relax, his ears twitching as he looked up at him. That giggle was something that he definitely needed to hear to make things better in his mind. Seeing the arms that were opened up to him, he gave a little sound in his throat and crawled up on bed with the other, reaching to pull Bastion to him to cuddle with him, inhaling his sweet scent. The single questioning word had Janos looking down at the other and he nodded his head.

”Yes master, family,” he said before he seemed to be wondering about how to explain it to him. ”It is like how we are now, where we are together but now there is a child. It is like how a mommy and a daddy get together to have a baby but rather than a mommy and a daddy there are two daddies and we raise the baby as our own. Does that sound like it would be okay?” He asked the other as he gave a little tilt of his head to the side. He didn’t really know how to better explain what a family was and he wanted his master to really understand and be okay. To him it meant that it was a source of togetherness and he wanted to feel that with the other. He wanted to make Bastion happy that he was with Janos and he wanted to make a sort of unit feeling between them but he wanted to know what the other thought and he wanted him to tell Janos what it was that he really felt. That would make him happiest but with how Bastion had been reacting, all he could feel were nerves that were bundled up in the pit of his stomach and it made it churn, made him feel sick. What if Bastion didn’t feel the same way? What if he didn’t want a family and wanted to not have such a deep connection with his puppy and their new, adopted child? What if? He had to wait to find out, but it was that wait that was killing him.
