The castle had been left behind for what had initially been planned as a short jaunt. They were gods and so why should they not live as such? The home that they had claimed for themselves was quite a large one indeed. His twin even seemed to suffer less while contained within its walls. It really was a fortress of the body as well as the mind. Though in its current condition it wasn't exactly the most comfortable and welcoming of places. If nothing else then Raiden at least wished for some soft bedding to lay upon. He had convinced his brother to head with him into the city that they found out about from a rather unfortunate traveler. The boys had needed to eat and that prey had stumbled upon them at the most inopportune time. Since having forced The Bat to meet his demise Raiden's objections to murder had seemed to have take a sharp decrease. But both events were justified within his mind. He refused to let anyone tear Diedrich away from him and he felt that such is what both of the kills had wanted to do. Even if Raiden seemed to be the one that would fair better should something to separate the boys it was actually quite the opposite. He depended upon his brother for he was the only one that could keep Raiden's mind off of the dark paths that they wandered down. Believe it or not Diedrich was actually Raiden's sanity.

"Wenn du suchst. Und dich selbst dabei verlierst. Dann find ich dich. Und hol dich zu mir." The words started out softly before becoming stronger as the song continued. It was only while he was alone or when he was with his brother could he ever be caught singing. He refused to grace anyone else with his melodious voice. What was the point of that? A boy had to have his secrets after all. And that he was actually able to carry a tune was one of those secrets. But he kept nothing at all from his twin. There were no secrets at all between them. How could there be when they could easily see through each other and know when one was hiding something?

The trip that had been meant to be short had grown remarkably longer when they had stumbled across some pale male rooting through the city. As soon as Raiden had spotted the unknown figure he had grown silent. A look was given to his brother and a smirk crossed his lips. It wasn't hard to decipher just what it was that he had in mind. How long had it been since they had a bit of fun? When was the last time that they had put their skills to the test. Both of the dual colored males followed after the single blonde in utter silence, making certain to remain downwind of the male that they were tracking as well as clinging to the shadows to keep themselves hidden from view. With this game of hide and seek, that was kept unknown about to the pack male, the twins original task had been entirely forgotten about.

It was only within the last league of the blonde's trip did Raiden finally decide to announce his presence. He had no idea where Itachi was headed exactly but Rai could only guess that it was close since the other had stopped during the day rather than at night as had happened in order to rest for another day of travel. Rai waited for his brother to get himself settled into the branches of a tree before he finally approached the male that was in repose. "Hallo. Wer sind dich?" The words of German origin were called out in a thickly accented voice. "Darf ich mit euch erquicken?" Even though he had questioned he didn't bother to wait for a response but went ahead and sat down next to the other. He mimicked the other with the way in which he dipped his feet into the water but then took it a step further to rest his palms flat on the ground behind himself and rested his weight back upon them. The boy had his head tilted back as if he was trying to catch the light of the late afternoon sun with which to warm himself but he was actually looking to keep an eye on his brother's position instead. "Was bringt dich hier draußen?" The male easily showed that he was the more talkative of the duo even if he refused to speak in the language that was used in this country. Oh he certainly knew English and could speak it fluently. Actually German was his second language, and one that he had only recently started to speak fully in, but it was hard to tell such. The Bat had used German frequently so of course the twins had picked up on it and then the trip to Germany served to instill it further. Now, with The Bat gone, Raiden had adopted the language as his own.
