No bed? He frowned. Not my problem, kid. He remarked harshly, stepping back and nudging her with his boot. Now would yah get up? Heaven knows you'll be eaten if you stay there. Not that he cared. He just felt a sort of nagging feeling in the back of his mind that his mother would've flipped out had she been there. He was glad she was back in Italy, or else he'd have a mouth to feed. Again.
He moved away from her without waiting for an answer, remounting his horse and pausing only to get situated... and to pull out a strip of dried beef from the saddlebag. He took a bite and hummed softly as he redid the straps holding the bag shut, paying no mind to the little whelp below him.
The horse, on the other hand, was all too interested in the little thing. He lowered his head curiously, dark eyes locked on the little white pup. His rider wasn't paying attention, so that meant he had some time to investigate the tiny thing. Had his rider been this small at one point? How did they manage to grow so big if they were born this tiny?
Andiamo, Hispo. Tempo per andare avanti. Lascia stare, sarebbe yah? Mumbled Matteo, who'd finished what he was doing and was now trying to get the horse to raise its head and walk again. The horse, Hispo as he was called, lifted his head but snorted, still eyeing the little pup in confusion and curiousity. Si tratta di un lupo, Hispo. Non tutto ciò che sorprendente. Andiamo. Matteo Scolded, nudging the horse's sides with his feet. The gelding didn't move; not until the girl was out of the way, at least.
