Io had walked slowly, the act with Shurui had been trialing, and while she was without pain she was worn out undoubtable. She would sleep well tonight, that she was sure of. Crawling into bed beside her mate as if nothing happened. She hadn't thought to wash, or she had, but she was too cautious for her own good and decided the safer option was to skip it and go home to where she knew it was safe.
Her still thin form slipped through the entrance of the cave, careful to contain any noise. She slipped over to the table in the centre of the room, pulling a chair out with little more than a creak from the legs. Aeron wasn't here, she could smell that, neither was Analise. But her slyness was due to the overbearing scent of Leon. She didn't want him finding her like this because, as she knew too well, he'd be angry.
There was a quiet sigh as she leant forward to rest her head on the table. She hadn't slept for a whole day, and the comotion with Shurui had lasted just over a whole hour. The last hing she'd need was Leon coming in and hassling her. But as she heard movement from the guest room her wishes seemed out of the window.
