”Quickly, they are coming!” Anann called out to the others within the shack as she drew her blades. She could hear them coming; the Guardians. There were too many for her to hold off alone and though she was able to slow them down, giving one of the wolves a forcible smack with the flat of her shorter blade, slitting open their cheek. Anann was only able to occupy a couple of the guards, the rest ran by her as she was unable to stop them. Out numbered, they needed to grab who they could and get out of here fast before more arrived. Even while defending herself from the two guards Anann managed to steal glances towards the door of the cabin and hoping to see Anatoliy and the others to re-emerge with the captives.
