General: Lean but toned, littered with scars and as pale and white as a ghost. Matteo is an albino and it's obvious; there's not a lick of pigment on him, giving him a pure white coat of fur. His ears are overly long, his hair (in his optime form) is worn short, about shoulder length in a styled cut. He's got a trimmed goatee and he's almost never nude or on four legs. His eyes are an interesting mix of pink and blue.
Eyes: Matteo's eyes show a prime example of partial heterochromia, in which both eyes have two colors in them; pale blue and a pigment-lacking pink. They generally don't reveal his emotions unless he's comfortable, then they're like windows.
Coloration: Pure white, no pigment.
Clothing: Now that it's winter, Teo wears a thick poncho-style pelt coat, tawny in color. Underneath he wears a simple black or brown sleeveless beater-style top and a pair of black denim jeans, faded on the front of each thigh. His boots are still worn, made of Italian leather and recently made waterproof thanks to some careful lining Teo's added.
Accessories: A golden cross on a white-gold chain, from his mother. A silver cross with a sapphire in the center on a silver chain, from Gemma.
Scars: Too many, but I'll list the important ones. On his face; a scar running across his right eye, splitting into two marks above the lid and one below. A small one on the right side of his mouth, a small one across the bridge of his nose, a long narrow scar across his left cheek and various other tiny scars on his nose. On his torso; Whip scars across his back, claw and bite marks on his shoulders and chest, some on his back as well. On his arms and legs; suicide scars on his wrists (clawed vertically for the most part, some are newer than others), claw marks all along his arms and thighs, chaffed scars on his wrists and ankles (barely noticeable), various claw marks on his inner thighs and rump, a small burn scar on his left shoulder in the shape of a cross (barely noticable, relatively fresh). His ears are torn all along the edges, both bitten and clawed.
As Of November, 2011: Thick claw marks across the tattoo on his chest, self inflicted after his separation from Alaki.
Tattoos: Just one (as of October, 2011); it's the Anathema symbol but it's mixed with a simple, thick cross that shows up on the edges in solid black. It's located over his heart on his chest.

General: Due to his past, Matteo's a soft-spoken individual with a good heart. He's creative, friendly and open-minded for the most part. He's known to over react about certain topics (such as slavery, abuse and religion) but otherwise, he's controlled and stable in most situations. He doesn't do well under pressure and can become easily confused and frantic during intense situations (as displayed during Gemma's miscarriage). He's a troubled soul, though, and can often fall into states of depression and anxiety. He's got a racist streak that's been bred into him, one he tries not to follow though it does show at times (much more often since November of 2011, though). This racism is against wolves, though hybrids are usually exempt from this.

General Style: A think, underlined Italian accent coats every word. He tends to slip into Italian when excited but otherwise, he speaks English fluently. Quiet and careful with his words, pronounces everything with a smooth, rolling 'purr' to his voice.
As of December, 2011: Matteo's accent is less noticable when he's talking business, though it's still there. His voice is also matured a bit, deeper now but still sounding young compared to his actual age.

Religion: Baptized Roman Catholic, however he's now following the AniWayan faith in the spirits and the *Great Fire.
Prejudices: Instinctual racism against Wolves, though he tries to hide it. He's against abortion, slavery and allowing children to be born bastards. He's also not too fond of inter-species relationships (luperci with non-luperci, namely), though he'll bite his tongue on this one.
General Beliefs: A very firm believer that love is blind. He still somewhat believes in heaven and hell, though lately he's debated on the existence of a christian/catholic god and is leaning more towards believing in a... different afterlife. Children should never be bastardized (born without married parents), abandoned or corrupted before adulthood (underage sex; the 'legal age' to him is two years). Married persons should share a last name and children should be allowed to choose their own religion (this one is a recently discovered belief, thanks to Camilla). He also believes that mates should be left to their own ordeals and not be forced together should their love not be strong anymore.

Matteo was born into a gospel family, both parents, Draco and Carissa Trovato, believing in nothing greater than God, the Almighty. Although his brother, Giuseppe, was the first born son, Matteo was a surprise blessing in his parents' eyes; pure white fur, pearl-colored eyes. He was an albino, but only in appearance it seemed, as he grew to be rather healthy as a pup. No doubt, this was from the constant care and approval of his parents, who showered him with love whilst ignoring and neglecting his older brother. The boys were from the same litter, sure, but Matteo had been born hours later, due to stress. This was just another upset to the darker-furred brother, who was forced to live in his pale sibling's constant shadow.
As fate would have it, Matteo wasn't as blessed as his parents thought him to be. Behind the scenes, Giuseppe abused and tortured him, both physically and sexually as they became older. The constant abuse from his brother counter-balanced the constant praise and adoration from his parents, giving poor Teo a rather bad complex. He became withdrawn quickly, shying away from conflict, and quickly becoming submissive despite both of his parents being rather dominating in nature.
Quickly accepting his role as a toy and slave to his brother, Matteo became rather like a hermit. His social interactions were forced at best, though he and Giuseppe brushed it off as being shy, rather than timid. It wasn't until their father Draco walked in on one of their moments alone that Matteo became the object of scorn as well. Both boys were sent away by their father, on a boat, with a warning that if they ever were to return, they'd have to come back changed men, with an appreciation for God and His laws, a day that would unfortunately never come.
It wasn't long before Matteo's parents' dark deeds caught up to them. During a revolt, Carissa and Draco Trovato were killed in a house fire, one which left Camilla, their young daughter, without her parents or a home to return to. In her parents' will, it was stated that she be brought to live with her brother Matteo, where ever he may be by that point. A family friend brought her to America, where Matteo became her only guardian.
