His embrace was as it had been the night they had spent together. Warm, safe, intoxicating. She instinctively wrapped her arms around him as well, and leaned heavily against him. It was too late to turn back, and he was what was left, no matter how little they knew about each other. She wanted safety and somewhere to belong without burdens upon her, and it felt so wonderful to have another being there, so warm and so very gentle without asking anything in return. If he did, she would give. Give and take was something she wanted to be balanced when it came to him.

Thank you.. She nuzzled her face lightly into black fur, and shut her eyes, the good feeling chasing away her fears and worries. With him she could always be safe. She shook her head gently though, she would not take anything away from him. She wanted to ask about the ivory female that had given her the tough welcome, but she let it pass for now, she did not want to ruin the good moment they were sharing. Do you still want me? It was a line she wished she had not uttered before it was too late. That night it had seemed like he had wanted her, although he did not try to get anything from her.

She was uncertain and a tad shy by nature, and she hid her face halfway in his dark pelt. He had said she was beautiful, and he had promised her everything. Did that offer still stand?
