Poor Cambi, she's such easy pickin's. Goats are open to be captured/killed. I'd rather the llamas escaped but they can be captured as long as they can be returned unharmed once the plot is over Smile

When the Medicus wasn't around the Manor these days, she could almost always be found at Tallermein's Cottage where the duo of llamas now resided along with the goats. Sometimes she wondered if the two long-necked creatures would be safer in the stables where the few horses the pack had stayed, but they seemed to prefer the company of the goats and the openness of the area. Cambria had already grown very fond of the wooly animals and had sought solace from them many times ever since the horrible advent of the war. Anu had finally been returned to them, but now her littermate was a prisoner. She prayed every day to whoever would listen that Gotham was as safe and as well as could be expected. The thought of losing him made her knees feel weak.

The cocoa luperci had lost track of time out here in the pastoral setting, and since there had not been any attacks since the first, her caution had admittedly turned lax. As darkness settled in around the lands she was still petting Carino's neck while Francis finished grazing off to the side with some of the goats. Suddenly and inexplicably though, all of the animals raised their heads and looked off to the west as tension filled the previous calm air. Disconcerted, Cambi looked in the same direction and strained her cream-tipped ears. There it was, rapid hoof-beats approaching. The Aedile's heart stalled in her chest and suddenly her feet felt like they had frozen to the earth beneath them. She tried to tell herself it was her father coming home from a journey, or one of the other Dreamers, but deep down she knew the horrible truth. Fear paralyzed her though, and she stood helpless in harm's way.
