OOC Leon hasn't noticed the rat XD

Leon sat at his usual spot on the roof outside his window, staring to the west. He found himself doing this often, no matter where he chose to be, or what he chose to do. The man had taken to scenting the air every few minutes, doing his best to keep his guard up. His weapon however, remained in his bedroom, unneeded at the moment. Through his nose, he kept track of the nearby movements of other creatures that moved within his range. He twitched slightly as he felt his head throb. Exhaustion was catching up with the Timber, and he wouldn’t be able to resist much longer if he remained still. Perhaps sleep was what he should be doing.

He paused outside his window and turned north, catching an unfamiliar scent. It was of the Dreamers land, but was new to his nose. His ears flicked as he stood at his window, indecision making him hesitate. The man’s head tilted as he realized he should go and meet the owner of the scent. He turned away and sighed, stepping off the roof and falling to the ground, bending his knees and rolling to diminish the stress on his legs. The Timber rose and rubbed his thighs as they screamed in protest. He was really too tired to be pulling those stunts. Leon rolled his shoulders and kicked his legs out. Once he felt loosened up, the male began to trot, following the scent north, using his trained nose to single it out. He set a steady pace and kept it until he arrived at Cottontail Valley.

When he finally slowed his pace, the sun was lower on the horizon, the sky turning pink. His eyes traversed the area as he walked, taking in his surroundings. He had only come through Cottontail Valley when he had been travelling north, or patrolling, and had not taken the time to enjoy the scenery. Even now, he didn’t waste time. He had not even acquainted himself with most of the pack, and he was eager to meet more of the Dreamers. His thoughts were interrupted as he noticed a woman resting in the fields, watching something moving about the ground.

Leon walked up to the woman slowly, his posture relaxed and his face friendly, though tired. He stopped a few feet from the female, fairly certain she had noticed his presence. “Hello there ma’m. Mind if I join you?”
