There is a time when the heart hurts

WC: 682. Done! I assumed she was in Lupus form? Let me know if that's not the case!

The following days of the ambush had caused a stir among the Dreamers, a disquiet from the news of their losses and murmurs of revenge and rescues. All of it made Giselle unsteady, and her being near and around the Manor made her nervous. It had taken some time to even leave the walls of the building, fearing that she may see the savage that had nearly taken her captive. But she had seen the shadow of a man fall under Silvano's knife, and though 'Elle could not bring herself to look upon the slain man, a part of her was unsure if he really was dead. The thought alone, among many other terrifying whispers in her head, made her weep in the otherwise still evenings.

Giselle could no longer stand the confines of her room, nor the surrounding walls. It took enough to convince the mottled knight, and even herself, to be able to leave the area, if even for a bit. Petite form still trembled when she exited the Manor, her watchful guardian perched upon her shoulder. Robin blue dress swirled about her ankles when her steps were light upon the floor, and swift as if the woman wanted to be away from everything - and quickly. White petals danced in the depths of her curly hair as she moved through the land, past the sweet scented trees and fields of flowers, until it seemed as if the earth swallowed the vegetation completely.

The young woman slowed as she neared a field of dry land, where the heat seeped into her very bones and made her neck sweat under the gauze that was lightly wrapped around her healing wound. Besides the dry weeds and the nakedness of the land there, in place of oaks or pines stood giant metal birds, glinting in the afternoon sun. Light blue orbs widened in their sockets, and her tail slumped down when she finally did stand still and look at them. Giselle shivered, both at being among the open, dry space and at the unknown fear of the worn, creaking steel. "Oh Tux, what is this awful place?" She asked him quietly, as if afraid to wake up the steel giants. Never had Giselle wandered in this part of her home before, but as she saw the sun bake the earth like bread and bounce off of the strange steel bird, she knew why.

She remained looking up in shock, as if she had seen a ghost, turning her head sharply from side to side. The ivory princess nearly turned to leave the awful and dreary place until Tux squeaked in alarm, and it caused her body to freeze up in place. As stealthily as possible he drifted down her arm and to the ground, moving towards one of the objects as if he had seen something. "Tux, what is it?" Her voice was somewhat shaky, but turned and watched him inch closer, stop to sniff the air, then inch closer to peer around the wing. What the stoat saw there made him turn and squeak at the woman to approach, sniffing at something that 'Elle could not see.

Just as careful, the petite femme approached and ducked under the hot metal object, which provided warm shade that hugged her comfortably. As pale blue eyes settled upon the object in question, Giselle gasped, and knelt down at the pup she saw lying just a few feet away. "Oh! Well hello there~" A genuine smile graced the features of the auburn haired woman, as Tux inched closer with a cautious stance. The Fantasia woman could scent why - the pup before them had the essence of the Dreamers about her, but some other familiar scent made a cream-tipped ear twitch upon her head. "Are you lost, little one?" Though the pup was anything but, features on her mixed coat still showed signs of young age. The woman knelt there quietly in the dirt, looking up at the large object as she wrapped her tail around one side. "This is quite a dreary place to be.."
