Then is the actual pack meeting part. Next is a small Halloween celebration. Assume that your character has been informed of this celebration; you may have them dress up if you'd like! NO posting order!
Two of her boys sat near her feet, Severus and Judas. Both were darker like their father, only Octavius sharing Naniko's pristine white pelt. Speaking of which...she hadn't seen the boy for the last half of the afternoon, and now it was beginning to grow dark. He was the only one of her trio who wasn't a complete troublemaker, but she worried about him wandering too far away from the caves. Naniko was allowing them to go outside on their own if they wished it, for she couldn't very easily follow all three at once, but she preferred to be with them if she could. Judas turned back to look at her, his cape tangling in his feet as he did so. The two had dressed up in small costumes that she had made for them from ideas she had found in a human children's book from the city. Halloween, they had called it, or All Hallow's Eve. Judas was playing the part of a vampire, fresh blood from a rabbit staining his muzzle red for further effect, and the gray-scale Severus was a prince. Atop his small head was a crown that she had fashioned out of leaves and gems that she'd managed to work free from jewelry laying around her den.
The snow-queen had dressed as herself, a long and tattered velvet cape around her shoulders and a more ornately decorated gold crown upon her head. She'd spent hours bending wire until it would go into the shape she had needed it to, polishing the thick wire until it shone. It was weaved simply, but the added gems made the recycled piece into a work of art. Beneath her cape she wore her weapons belt as usual, her ceremonial dagger, poison-tipped daggers, and axe hanging from the brown leather piece. She thought about what she would like to say to the pack, then lifted her head to howl for their attention. Their participation in the meeting wasn't mandatory, as Naniko knew that many canines had things to do both in and outside of Anathema, but she hoped that many would come.
She had been watching Alaki and waiting for him to prove himself to her in the pack, at first being unsure about him because of his way of handling others. He seemed quick to anger, something she wasn't certain she could deal with in a sub-leader. But over time he had proven himself valuable to her, reaching the top rank in his tier and taking on responsibility whenever she asked it of him. He had even come up with a few new ideas, ideas that she wished for him to share with the pack today at this meeting. It would be unexpected to him, perhaps, that she chose to promote him so soon...but Naniko felt that it was time. Whether he sank or swam would be up to him; she could lead their 30-strong pack alone as she had done in the past if she had to.
