Leaving a trail of faintly glowing pawprints behind her, the waxing moon sailed through the midnight sky of an Anatheman corridor. Caprica had lacked inspiration for a realistic costume, wanting only to work with a piece of silver she'd found in a hardware store - combined with twists of copper from stripped electrical wires. She'd hammered out a large crescent of the gleaming metal and twisted a torque of intricately laced wire. This gave her the idea of going as the night sky which seemed like a cop-out til she remembered the phosphorus. Now, rolled in the glowing substance so that each tuft of fur gleamed fluoroescent, she thought she approximated starshine and moonlight well enough.
Presenting herself with the others, all remarkably well turned out, she grinned at the deathly deer skull which especially caught her eye. 'Nice,' she muttered to the stranger behind it as she carved a wide enough path through the throng to where the white queen waited. Naniko looked fiercely beautiful, in a crown more than simply beautiful, it had a fitting charisma and force. She bowed her head in an admiring, respectful greeting, and on this lower plane caught sight of her two brothers and they were too adorable to resist. The dignity dropped instantly. 'Aw, look at this! Who are these cute little darli...' she cleared her throat, finishing 'frightening and magnificent pair?' with a playful smile, the (relatively) serious business of the meeting forgotten til she glanced at Naniko once more. 'Wonderful look, mom - your highness, that is!' The mildly playful tones quite a contrast to the grand and extravagant jewellery they both wore.
