PP with the hug with Caprica, hope you don’t mind!

It seemed that the meeting had ended quickly anyway. So, Rio basically missed the whole thing. Good. She rose from her seat in the back, and made a wide turn around where Akira was sitting so that she wouldn’t have to run into her at all- because that situation would not end well. She walked towards her little family towards the front of the meeting place. The younger ones were freaking out about the word ‘fuck’ and who knew what else. Caprica sat calmly, and her mother Nani seemed to be overwhelmed.

Rio looked around herself, making sure she was avoiding the ones that she didn’t want to be seen by, and sauntered over to her little family. ”Is there anything I can help with, Momma?” She didn’t exactly have much experience with pups, but these were her brothers- where could she go wrong? Then she looked up at Caprica and smiled at her, obviously. She went over to her sister and grabbed her in a short, tight hug. ”It’s good to see you, sis,” she whispered in Caprica’s ear as she pulled away. She left her eyes on her ‘other half’ for a few seconds more before returning them to Naniko and her spazzing children.

”What was the meeting about?” She felt kind of stupid for asking because if Akira, who she still didn’t know her name, and the various other distractions didn’t distract her she would’ve known what was going on despite her late arrival. But this was her mother and her pack, she needed to know what was going on and since her head is usually up in the clouds, this was a perfect, easy opportunity to find out. She slipped another glance at her sister before backing away slightly to give Nani room when she picked up the pups.
