Io smirked at Aeron's harsh comment. Though she felt pretty much the same way, she now shifted her persona to a much friendlier state, balancing out her mate's sharp words. 'Aeron... She asked a question... Nothing more' she whispered, nudging her mate softly. When she turned back to Saxif, she shrugged plainly and comment much the same, 'Plenty more fish in the sea...' Her words sounded irritated, but they usually did for little, insignificate reasons.
As Aeron looked to her, she nodded gently, a small, brief yes sign. She had been keeping better track of time than Aeron, she was undoubtedly better suited to this situation than Aeron. 'About that' she noted, tilting her head in thought. There was no other reason Io could see, except curiousity, to why Saxif would ask that question. But even through Aeron's stoicness, Io remain the better socialised one in the conversation, lining every word with a convincing smile.
The russet and white coated woman nodded along in agreement to Aeron's question. If they were courting, it wouldn't fuss Io. As long as their agreement still stood and he finished his work on the house. And of course the most important thing, that he would repeat this process again, if Io wished it. She was the only male she trusted for this, fully. Shurui could always be relied on for the 'construction process', though for anything else he was good for nothing.
