Ayasha decided at the last moment to stop her attack and weave back into the crowd. She realized that it was safer for her to be surrounded by people. That way, she was less likely to get attacked without someone coming to her aid. She had thought that she could stand war after her “raid” on Cour des Miracles but the real thing was scary.
She glanced around for her friends and uncle. Her mother was hopefully dealing with the guardian. Leon, she saw heading off on his own but she wasn’t worried about him. But she saw Saxif and her horse go down. ”Saxif! Are you alright?” But her attention was soon taken by that guardian that had originally tried to grab her. He was sneaking off towards the stables.
Her eyes narrowed. He was up to no good, she was sure of it. She just didn’t realize that she was his prey. She stalked towards him, hoping to get close enough to get one her knives in him. She of course went around back of him, unknowingly playing a game of cat and mouse with him. She was determined to get that stupid guardian. She just hoped that the spirits looked over her. She saw Dichali flying above her, invisible to all but her.
