The man before her was a truly skilled player at his instrument, that was for sure. He played with a fine tempo, and even changed it for her dance more freely to. The song he had played was a truly elegant melody, that was most likely terribly complicated. Ophelia was grinning from ear to ear, her scarf hanging loosely around her neck. As he set down the fine instrument and gave a warm smile, Ophelia gave a small sigh. Good, she wasn't going to be attacked. Vesper did tell her to be more cautious... or something like that. As the male before her complimented her dancing, her eyes lit up brightly. "Thanks a bunch! You're playing is pretty rocking!" Ophelia pretended to play the guitar, but kinda failed. Like usual, a happy smile was on her face. This male was nice so far, and she hoped they could become friends. "I like you're name, Kansas. I play violin, which is sorta-kinda like the guitar." Ophelia wasn't completely sure if the violin was like a guitar, but she was going to say so anyways. They both had strings, and they both made enchanting music. So they had to be relatives... Right? "So, Kansas, where did you learn how to play the guitar?" It was a curious question, with Ophelia tilting her head to the side. Ophelia wrapped her scarf tighter around her neck, even though it wasn't even that chilly. You had no idea how many times her scarf ran away from her if it wasn't on tight enough, and it liked to get stuck in the oddest of places! Like in Ether's tail (Which was not a fun time), in a tree, even in a bird's nest! Ophelia then slowly lowered herself to the ground, and crossed her legs, and looked up at Kansas, like a young child waiting for a story to be told. "I learned how to dance and play the violin in my home country, Honduras." Ophelia nodded, for she felt like she must tell him if he was going to tell her. "By the way, what song were you just playing? It was very nice...." |
