"Sounds like you need a better horse," he commented. Denver wasn't one to own horses in the first place, but if he did, he knew that he would be sure to get one that was trained. What kind of person would want to own such a wild horse, anyways? He shook his head, amazed that the man would have this unruly animal and still bring it around people. It was reckless, really.

An ear flicked as the taller, hulking man gave his name. Dresden. Somehow, it fit him, and Denver wondered what sort of purebred husky just wandered around near all these wolf packs. "Wandering, huh? Y'know there're lotsa packs around here, 'm sure one of 'em would take ya in... Might even train that beast for ya," he offered with a grin. Denver sure hadn't enjoyed the life of a loner, and he'd known most of his kin to be the same way; but maybe this guy was different. "Yeah, a couple miles south; be careful 'round there, though. They're not so gentle with strangers gettin' too close," he warned, knowing the Thistle Kingdom to be unforgiving. Dresden was lucky that Denver was keen to share this information; had he been any other breed, the Salsolan might not have been so giving.
