A challenge was just perfect in her mind. Terra answered his grin with an even bigger one. She couldn't help liking him, as brilliant as he was. A young wolf who had already fought in battle and won, and knew how to heal! He seemed to have something in mind as well. Terra backed away from the horses, an invitation to leave the area. It would be better if he could concentrate.
She was a little worried about what the challenge could be. He knew how to do so many things she couldn't. If it was something she didn't know about, she'd just have to wing it. Terra was pretty good at faking things. That's how she stole food. It might not be something she could fake though. If she didn't know what it was, she definitely couldn't pretend to be able to do it well. Still, it would be a lot of fun! Liam was smiling too. It was much better than when she'd first saw him, sitting rather droopingly in the tree. He had been so guarded, as if expecting an attack at any instant. This was much better.
