There was little else she could do save for lower herself to the ground when able. Contentment, release was all she knew, all she cared about as well as the male who claimed her. The primal mind couldn't even begin to understand the trouble it brought on her, or the consequences there in. It all felt irrelevant... unnecessary.

What did it matter if the others of her pack challenged her claim, rob her of her pleasure? The thought struck her alarmingly hard, not regrettably but in concern. She had laid claim to him, and he permanently cemented his claim over her. Did that mean she was to follow him now? Stand at his side as a chosen female should? What of her pack? What about her Alpha? Her real Alpha. Her hackles raised in alarm, her claws grating the ground in agitation despite the affection of her lover.

Nothing in her screamed it was wrong, but with the tension dispersed, there was nothing to hinder the few rational thoughts trickling past the feral barrier. What strength she could muster was used to raise her hips, gesturing silently for the male to dismount. An unnatural silence came over the once high audible female. Her eyes not longer shining with ferocity but were dulled with contemplation. She couldn't even begin to sort this out...
