WC:000+ OOC: Kostya is in optime form, takes place around Sunrise, back-dated to the 27th of October.
Kostya strolled down the street at a leisurely pace, unwilling to subject his paws to more abuse from fast travelling when he was in no rush. Instead he took his time and travelled slowly, taking in the unfamiliar and fascinating scenery of the old, derelict, human city as he walked. In many ways Kostya was less in tune with the wisps of humanity many wolves seemed affected by. Far from making him uninterested in humans and their creations the degree of separation made them all the more fascinating to him.
Which was why he was now taking a detour back into Halifax rather than heading back up north to his den. Instead he was strolling down the ruined street, watching the sunrise as it peeked over the horizon in a vibrant display of orange, the distant buildings making for an interesting skyline compared to the forests and plains he normally saw.
As he walked Kostya started to hum. It was an old Russian tune that he couldn’t remember the words to, sung to him long ago by his mother in a language he could barely remember anymore. He had forgotten the words but the tune always stuck with him, it was a remnant of happier days, before he and his parent were forced to flee across Europe.
Before his parents died.
And so, humming happily to himself, Kostya walked onwards, wondering what the city would bring to him.
