The sun was on it's way out and was soon to be replaced by it's counterpart - leaving the world darker, perhaps, but bathed in it's own kind of pale light. Tanka rather enjoyed night, although his greatest preference was early morning. He preferred sunrise to sunset. He would take the latter at the moment, though, as it was all there was. Settled on a rock in an opening that cut him a clear view of the sky, the young Luperci sat in silence and seemingly without focus. He appeared to simply exist. But his mind was ticking quietly within his skull, as the color shifted and drained in the sky.

He would be reading - if he had a book. Reading was another of Tanka's biggest strengths and interests. Instead, he pondered.

As he did so, the light drained to that point in the day in which neither sun nor moon were high enough in the sky to cast enough rays to aide in vision. It was the most uncomfortable time of the entire day, Tanka wold argue. And it slipped in and had it's brief stay, the quietest of sounds shifted a few feet from his seat. An ear twitched slightly, but the Luperci did not move. Not yet. When it rustled again, a few moments later, his gaze shifted in the direction of the noise but he could make out little in the horrid lighting.

There was a disinterested stare on his expression, but he listened intently. Not yet comfortable enough to be careless in this new environment he'd found himself and also unwilling to overreact (or react, for that matter) all there was, was to wait - at least until the sky made it possible for reliable sight once again.
