Her soft touch was made numb by the alcohol, but nonetheless his body reacted and blood rushed there, and there, and down farther. Denver may have blushed, had he been more innocent and less familiar with a woman's body. Ivory hands found her darker hips, and he kneaded at the thicker flesh there before the hunger overcame him and he pinned her down to the bed, his body pressed against hers heatedly. He grinned, looking down at her through his own bleary stupor, unable to keep himself from thinking how cute she looked just then. But that was all that he remembered before his memory went blank, the following hours lost to the alcohol.

Denver's head was pounding when he woke up to the sun's light peeking in from above. Rolling his eyes open slowly, he glanced around, suddenly remembering where he had fallen asleep. Looking to his side, Magnolia was sound asleep. Clenching his teeth, Denver rolled off of the bed, grabbing his coat and quickly sneaking out the door. The air was cool on his warm skin, and he almost turned back. The warmth of another body had been nice. Frowning, he shuffled into his own small room and flopped down onto his bed with a heavy sigh. Then, he shoved a pillow over his head and shut his eyes again. It took him much longer to fall asleep this time, but soon the cold was less apparent, and his own warmth was enough for a while.
