Io had been given a stern warning by her mate. 'You can't keep wandering around now! What if something happened?' The words rattled around in her brain, but she paid little attention to them. True she needed to slow down, but she would so at her own pace. She'd stick around the village now, well after today. She had left the village to wander about in the dark tunnels. Something about them captivated her and in someways she was disappointed that she had to leave them. But they weren't very warm at this time and as the pups were almost immenant warmth was a coveted thing. The closet in the so called hotel was ready for the arrivals, the furs that linned the den were now strune thickly across the floor.
Io sighed, Leon would have prefered that she stayed in the hotel. But he was over protective and forgot just how dangerous Io could be. And whats more she wasn't going to listen to him, she did have her own mind and she would prefer to use it rather than let her intelligence go to waste. She would waste herself sitting in a room waiting for the next few days. It seemed a stupid thing to do.
